ACARD Technology was originally incorporated as ARTOP Electronics in Taiwan in 1990. In September of 1996 ARTOP Electronics was re-incorporated as ACARD Technology Corporation. Since that time the success of ACARD's corporation has increased revenues and employees by 100%. ACARD's success has allowed the company to expand the business worldwide providing products to PC, Macintosh, and UNIX workstation users. Today ACARD continues to be a dedicated storage IC design house and SCSI/IDE/RAID card manufacturer in Taiwan.
